I'm a Bulgarian-born British product designer based in Glasgow. I've spent the past 13 years launching impactful products, and helping people and businesses do their best work.
Currently, I’m Vice President of UX/UI Design at Barclays Private Bank and Wealth Management, where I lead complex cross-jurisdiction projects, drive recruitment to scale and strengthen the design team, and help shape the organisation’s vision and strategy.
Before Barclays, I spent some time in the start-up world building AI-powered tools and smart home solutions. Earlier in my career, I designed digital products for large organisations including the Royal Bank of Scotland, NatWest, ScottishPower and Tesco Bank.
Throughout my career, I've been involved in everything from crafting design systems to influencing strategy and reinventing existing products. By continuously evaluating past assumptions and refining my design process, I've developed the ability to take complex problems and transform them into intuitive solutions while nurturing strong collaboration with stakeholders, engineers, and designers in the process.
I'm also a co-founder of Augmade, where we create immersive spatial experiences for virtual and augmented reality. We've recently launched the Buzludzha VR project, bringing history to life in a whole new dimension.
When I take a break from the digital world, I can often be found with my running shoes on. Not too long ago, I held the title of national champion in the 800-meter race. The discipline, resilience, and focus that I’ve cultivated on the track help me continually move forward.
